Account Manager

We are looking for smart, highly motivated Account Managers in order to develop new and existing clients. The Account Manager would be required to deliver on revenue growth targets and be responsible for the demands and forecasting in their particular vertical. The candidate should have experience in sales, software sales and/or IT Sales and have previous experience in selling into large corporations and or Government accounts. Experience within the wireless and mobility world development would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
During your time at Rove you will be responsible for:
- Identifying, developing and closing a targeted list of key accounts, through all phases of the sales process
- Maintaining a pipeline of at least $2.0 million and will have closed at least $850K in sales by the end of your first year
- Maintaining customer satisfaction through strong account management and implementation skills
- Delivering accurate sales forecasts weekly, monthly and quarterly
- Supporting marketing and tradeshow activities biannually on average dependent on the year
- Providing customer feedback for product development
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
- 5+ years experience in business-to-business consultative selling in the software industry, preferably managing major account sales cycles to global Fortune 1000 organizations
- An understanding of the different steps involved in a sales cycle and of leveraging each stage in the sales cycle to advance the sale
- A formal understanding of Solution/Consultative Selling and strong cold calling and prospecting skills
- Proven ability to prospect and manage a designated vertical territory to maximize revenue growth
- Existing key contacts in selling into IT departments of major organizations
- A sense of driving projects to closure
- An ability to work with a team and a positive, winning attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience in any of the following vertical markets – Public Sector, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and Health Care
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project
- A B.A., B.S., B.Com or equivalent, an MBA is an asset
