Technical Support Specialist

Our support team is growing! We are looking to immediately fill the position of a technical support specialist. Tasks will include providing technical support on both phone and e-mail to our clients as well as contributing to the quality assurance team with the testing of Rove’s products. This position requires the ability to work the hours of 10am to 6pm to be accessible to our clients during their times of need.

Responsibilities:

During your time at Rove you will be responsible for:

  • Providing superior technical support and training by phone and email to Rove’s customers
  • Troubleshooting problems and provide complete solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Logging incidents/problems and follow up on all outstanding incidents/problems on a regular basis
  • Contributing technical content to the Technical Support website
  • Working with other team members and Product Development to resolve difficult technical issues
  • Contributing to the Quality Assurance team with testing of Rove's products

Qualifications:

We are looking for applicants with:

  • Network/System Administration experienc
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers and networks
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • Some knowledge of Unix or Database servers is an asset
  • Knowledge of wireless devices such as Blackberry and Palm
  • Able to work effectively with a team
  • Competence in other languages such as German, Spanish or French is an asset
