New Release - Mobile Admin 4.0

New Licensing System

Mobile Admin 4.0 is licensed per user. One license allows one user to manage an unlimited number of servers.

If you are a current Mobile Admin customer with an up-to-date maintenance contract, you can upgrade to Mobile Admin 4.0 at no charge. Each of your current licenses will be converted from one license per server to one license per user with access to unlimited number of servers.

If you do not have an up-to-date maintenance contract, you will need to purchase the maintenance you owe until the current date.Visit My Account to purchase maintenance.

Improved scalability — Mobile Admin 4.0 uses a database backend that facilitates support for large number of servers and allows more secure data settings
Redesigned Web Interface — Users can access and manage servers from any desktop computer or laptop, through a web interface

Improved installation process
SQL Database configurations — Mobile Admin 4.0 uses a MS SQL database for scalability, speed, and to store its configuration information. We support installing SQL Server Express or pointing the Mobile Admin Server at an existing SQL Server.
BES IT Policy was added for pre-configuring BlackBerry clients with the Mobile Admin server name
